The little things we almost miss
Sep 22, 2026
You know what I've noticed?
Gratitude has been on my mind lately.
Life moves so quickly.
It's easy to rush from one thing to the next without noticing the quiet moments waiting for us along the way.
A child's laughter.
A kind smile.
The warmth of the morning sun.
I've often wondered if that's where gratitude begins.
Not because life is perfect.
But because we've chosen to notice the goodness that's already here.
The more we notice it, the more it seems to grow within us.
We become a little more patient.
A little more hopeful.
A little more generous with one another.
Imagine if our children grew up believing there was always something worth noticing.
I think that would make our homes—and perhaps even our world—a little kinder.
Sometimes the smallest moments leave the biggest footprints.
If today gives you a few quiet moments, I hope you'll enjoy our newest Kids Q&A: What Is Awareness? Watch on YouTube
